All toasting is carried out by a master cooper over braziers fed by seasoned oak. As each barrel is toasted, they employ sophisticated heat sensors to monitor the toasting time and temperature—ensuring strict adherence to the defined toasting method.

CHAUFFE CHÂTEAU
A carefully monitored toast that is nurtured through a gradual increase of intense fire for a short period.

CHAUFFE BOURGUIGNONNE
A deep, penetrating toast over a moderate fire for an extended period of time.

CHAUFFE TRADITIONELLE
A moderate length toast starting with a high fire during the bending which is then allowed to die down towards the end of the toasting.

CHAUFFE TRADITIONELLE LONGUE
This long gentle toast remains at an unvarying temperature until the finale when it peaks.
